Last weekend I attended the 2020 Pro-Line Nitro Explosion at Thunder Alley, which personally is one of my favorite 1/8 scale tracks.
Took the TQ & took the win in 40+ Nitro Buggy at the 2020 U.S. Open Fuel Championships held at Sun City R/C Raceway near El Paso, TX.
Last week we headed down to El Paso for the US Open Fuel Championships at SCRC. The Showers family has done an amazing job on this facility, they definitely cater to the racers, and their hospitality is top notch.
Today I visited an after school program and gave a RC Police presentation with the Pro-Line Pro-MT 4×4 Truck.
10/17/2020 Went out to lizard mouth rock Saturday for the first time very cool place. traction was awesome so many different lines.
Great weekend at Palm Desert for the JBRL Nitro Series. The event had 200 entries which made for a long day and some great racing. Adam Drake was the top qualifier in nitro buggy, electric buggy, and nitro truck.
Well now that I’ve actually gotten some sleep southern nats it over. The track was fun and flowing but got rough super fast this year making it extremely challenging.
2 nights, 3 days, 3 rounds of qualifying, 35 heats in each qualifying round, 37 mains, 194 registered racers, 391 entries, 14,052 laps turned, $21,000 raised for the American Cancer Society, 50,000+ calories consumed, a million laughs… and this wraps up the 2020 East Coast Race Against Cancer.
