This past weekend I attended the 2014 U.S. Southern Nationals in West Monroe, Louisiana. This race has been held for the past 5 years at Ike Hamilton Expo Center and this was my third straight year of attending the event. This is always one of my favorite races of the year because the track is […]
I had a great weekend at Bring the Heat in Flowood, MS. I TQ’d all three rounds of qualifying Buggy and took the win followed by TLR / Pro-Line teammates Billy Fischer and Chandler Elliot.
The 2nd annual RC Masters Electric race held at Henry County RC Raceway took place and brought in a total of just over 100 racers. Being an all electric event this was a great turnout. We both ran 1/8th scale pro E-Buggy, and Shane ran 2wd and 4wd 1/10th scale. During the first qualifier of E-Buggy, my […]
The AMS event in Cullman, Alabama, continues to be one of the most well-known races on the calendar during the summer racing season. The AMS 5.0 event had a record 600 entries. Race directors Jimmy Babcock and Canyon Thompson kept the program running smooth all weekend. The AMS crew built a very technical layout that […]
The Alabama Manufactures’ Shootout brought in a total of 600 entries this past weekend. Being an indoor event, the weather went crazy and changed temps and humidity quite often but didn’t effect tire choice too badly. PRACTICE: I went out in nitro buggy with M4 HoleShots. As the track began to come around, a little after […]
This past weekend, Leadfinger Racing held it’s 2nd Anniversary race at Space Coast RC, the home of the 2014 Electric 1/10th Nationals. There were 197 entries for the event with racers from Florida, Alabama and Georgia. Chris Schaefer of Leadfinger R/C did an outstanding job putting on this event along with SCRC, which is one of the best facilities to ever get […]
This weekend, Pro-Line Driver Cole Ogden and I made the trip down to SCRC in Cocoa Beach, FL for Leadfinger R/C’s 2nd Anniversary race. The track was tight, high bite, and with a serious blue groove. Traction was absolutely ridiculous. I ran Pro E-Buggy and 2wd Modified Buggy. This would be my first big event […]
This past weekend I attended the Tennessee State Championship held at ROCCK Raceway in Knoxville, TN. In practice I tried M4 Blockades and stuck with them throughout qualifying, knowing I had awesome traction. I knew I had an advantage with my M4 Blockades and I TQ’ed all 3 rounds of qualifying then ended up taking the win […]
