2014 Pennsylvania State Championship held at LCRC Raceway – 5/31/14
Classes: E-Truggy, 4wd sct, 2wd sct
Race setup: 3 rounds of heats and 10 min electric mains
Position: E-Truggy-TQ and 1st in A-Main, 4wd sct- 2nd in A-Main, 2wd sct- TQ and 2nd in A-Main
E-Truggy: The truck was on ALL DAY! This was my second race overall with this vehicle and it is well on its way to becoming my favorite! I set TQ the first round and people started watching me more. After the second round I layed down the fastest lap of the day with a 35 second lap!!!!!! And for the third I ran the best heat of my life because all my laps were within within a second or two. Finally in the main I fell back to second early, while falling back 6 seconds from mistakes.
I PUSHED my way back up and on the last lap I made a corner pass for the win! After the race people came to me and we’re saying things like “dang dude you can wheel that truck!” “WOW!”
4wd sct: The first round I fell out because my steering plug came loose. Coming back out for the second round, I ran an awesome run and came out second. The third panned out the same way with a second place qualifier.
Going into the main I ran second place start to finish as I was battling for first for a short time and then fell back and finish second. Super fun on LCRC’s big track !
2wd sct: All three rounds were filled with success! I reset TQ every round with my PRO-2 SC!
Heading into the main I was running 1st, a lap up, and I landed a jump sideways and one of my driveshafts popped out so I didn’t finish. With only two ppl racing I finished second 😛
Overall:
My Top-of-the-line Tekno RC ET48 had Pro-Line HoleShot 2.0 M3 tires which were HOOKED UP!
My durable Tekno SCT410 had Pro-Line Tazer M3 tires which were great in the groove, and had awesome power with my 8000 mah venom battery!
My new Pro-Line PRO-2 SC Truck had Pro-Line Blockade M3 tires for the grip and a 7000 mah venom battery!
