Hey there all you Crawler and Tough Truck RC guys. Here is a quick tip to give your Crawler or Rock buggy a little more stability when using 2.2 Crawler Tires.  Pro-Lines  #6172-00 Oversize 2-Stage Memory Foams are A great option when you want some high speed performance but still want to maintain flexible crawling characteristics of the tires. Our #6172-00 2.2 2-Stage Memory foams feature a stiff Gray Inner core to help control Side Wall Flex while still allowing the tire to flex more over obstacles and control excessive tire bounce you get from traditional foams.

Installation is easy and they fit really nice into our #1166-14 2.2 TSL SX Crawler Tires.  Before installation, I like to take a pair of body sissors and round off the inner  Gay Foam edges and the outer White memory Foam edges. The edges don’t need to be perfect, just as long as you have the basic shape for the tire allowing for a smooth / rounded transition.

The end result is a nice looking tire with a more realistic / rounded side wall profile that will give you great Performance in both Crawling and higher speed Trail Running!
