AxialFest 2016 couldn’t have gone better in my book, Trails were great and racing was fierce.
AxialFest racing is an Outlaw style event which means if you roll, your car becomes track art. No corner marshals really makes you have to do work driver!

Managed to go out in 1.9″ SCX10 and win the first heat to transfer to the main then as a kicker the main was shortened to two laps instead of 3 like the Heat really upped the intensity. Managed to get a decent lead in the Main but as I came around to the Rock Garden I goofed and got passed by fellow racer Michael Pham. I knew from there I didn’t have long to make it up and get the pass done. With everybody cheering me on I was able to take the inside line in the logs and pass Michael for the lead and win the Main!
