On the weekend of 3/17/16 I attended the Silver State Race at RC Tracks of Las Vegas, they did a great job at prepping the track for the week. Traction was at its all time high and the track was very fun.
I ran X1 Blockades in Truggy, X1 Fugitives in Buggy and after the 30-min Main I had plenty of Tire left to spare on both vehicles!
Qualifying came and I was able to qualify 3rd overall in truck and 12th overall in Buggy. I struggled in my Buggy qualifying heats with traffic and driver errors.
Mains came and in truck I had an awesome drive. Stayed very consistent and was able to finish 2nd overall on the podium. With the momentum I was carrying from truck I had great self confidence in my ability for Buggy. I had a great start that put me from 12th to 4th in the first 3-min. I was running up there with the leaders in sight. But with driver errors it cost me the chance of a win. I finished 7th overall in Buggy.
