January 8-10 I attended round 1 of the RC Pro Series held in San Antonio, Texas at RCHQ.
There was right at 150 entries with some of the the best racers from all over Texas!
“For the triple A-Mains in E-Buggy I decided to run M4 Hole Shots and they were amazing, and allowed me to win A1 and A2 to get the overall!”
I showed up Friday for practice with my cars prepped and ready and spent most of the day just trying different tires and compounds.
Qualifying went really well for me in Pro E-Buggy and I ended up TQ. My Nitro car was a little off for me and I ended up qualifying 5th.
On Sunday I showed up to the track a little early so I could try a little softer compound Tire (M4 Hole Shots) instead of the X3 I ran during qualifying, and my car was instantly better!
For the triple A-Mains in E-Buggy I decided to run M4 Hole Shots and they were amazing, and allowed me to win A1 and A2 to get the overall!
For the 45-minute Pro Nitro Main I decided to run M4 Blockades since M4 seemed to work so much better in E-Buggy and it did! I had a lot of really close battles throughout the entire Main but worked my way to the top and finished 1st
Giving me 1st in both Pro Nitro and E-Buggy!
