This past weekend I raced the 1st annual Dialed In RC Raceway Nitro Stadium Shootout. I ran Intermediate Buggy and Truggy. Friday was practice and my Hpi D815 and D8TTE were on rails.
I ran Pro-Line M3 Suppressors on Buggy and Pro-Line X3 Hole Shots and Pro-Line X3 Suppressors on Truggy.
The track was rough and was hard to drive. I changed shock pistons and shock oil. I changed pills in the rear hub and the A-block in the front of my Buggy. Saturday morning I practice before qualifiers and the work I did on my Buggy the night before was awesome.
My qualifiers went smooth in both of my classes and ended up top qualifier in both of my cars. Both of my cars were awesome. The Mains were triple A-Mains, my Buggy Mains were good and I was able to win A1 and A2. In Truggy I had a hard time, A1 I had motor problems. A2 I had a bad race. In A3 I was doing well, but half way though I had a flame-out and my air filter came off and it buried up my motor.
I would like to thank Kevin Palmer and Mark Schroeder for all the help all weekend long. I would also like to thank my sponsors HPI Racing, Pro-Line Racing, A Main, Protekrc, Hobby wing, Schuur Speed, VP Racing Fuels, OGIO, Maddox Designs, and Hooked Tire Sauce.
