This hole race planning started about two months ago. When the track owner Donald Milne sent me a personal invitation to attend there annual Monster Bash Trophy Race at Island raceway in New York. I was all honored and speechless that I was picked out of the Industry to attend one of his races.
It was about a 5-hour drive but it was well worth the trip. I can honestly say it was one of the best facilities I have been to. The track layout was a blast and the traction was awesome. After a little practice on Saturday night I started to get the hang of things. Sunday started the event with 200 entries and 28 heats. I QF 5th in Stock Buggy 9th in Mod Buggy.
Short course I QF 2nd in stock and I TQ Mod Short Course. In the Mains I was able to take 3rd in Stock Buggy.
Mod buggy I had some hard luck and finished 10th. Stock Short Course I took 1st and mod short course 3rd.
All on M4 Primes what a outstanding Tires. Over all I had a blast meeting new people and seeing some old faces.
Very big thank you to everyone at Pro-Line Racing for all the great support.
Thank you again, Peter Bartlett
