Thomas Gisler at Brazilian Nationals 2015 in Buggy and Truck on Pro-Line Suppressors

The Brazilian Offroad Nationals 2015 were held from September 3rd to 6th on a completely reformed track in Campo Mourao in the Parana State in Southern Brazil. While Thursday was reserved for free and timed practice, Friday for Qualifications, Saturday was mostly a truck day, with the Truck A-Main being the event of the day. Multiple times Brazilian National Champion Henrique Winik showed his class once again, winning the Truck Final with a stunning 6 laps lead over Rodrigo Nakad and Marco Amaral. Henrique used the Suppressor X3 compound on his OS powered Mugen MBX7T.

Then came Sunday, with the lower mains, the Masters Finals (+40) and as the final event, the one hour Nitro Buggy A-Main. And once again, Henrique Winik made it all clear and won the Buggy class with 2 laps advantage over Gustavo Baer in second and Rodrigo Nakad in 3rd place. Henrique was, as for Truggy, using the Suppressor X3 compound on his OS powered Mugen MBX7R.
Pro-Line Team driver Thomas Gisler qualified 7th for the A-Main, but suffered a complete receiver battery failure in minute 14, while in 5th place. Being one out of only two drivers being on a 10-minutes pit strategy on his WERKS powered Mugen MBX7R, Thomas saw his chances for a podium finish going away and finished in 11th position. As Henrique, Thomas was using the Suppressor X3 compound, which simply offered the best traction on Sundays surface, and allowed much later brake-points than any other tires being used.
