Last weekend the 4WD Buggy and 4WD Short Course German Nationals were held at the famous MAC Burgdorf track, which hosted the touring car Worlds a couple years ago. Saturday was good weather and the astroturf track had tons of traction. 3 Rounds of practice, followed by qualification. The key on this track was to find a setup where the car not traction rolled so easily.
I found a good balance and got two 2nd places in 4WD and two 1st places in 4×4 SC. 2 more Rounds of qualifying were scheduled for Sunday and of course the triple A-Mains. During the night to Sunday it rained and the track was wet and slippery. I made a small setup change for the conditions and my SRX4 was really good, could set the TQ in Round 5. Overall I started 2nd in 4WD and 1st in 4×4 SC for the Main finals.
A1 and A2 went perfect where I could take the victory in both classes and the Overall Championships.
