This past weekend (Jan. 15-16, 2011) Ty Tessmann was at the Western Canadian Indoor Championship Series Race #2 in Lethbridge, Alberta. In the TC 13.5 Super Stock class, first round of qualifying went to Wayne Mah of Xray, but in the 2nd round Ty upped the stakes to qualify 6 seconds faster, and setting the tone for the weekend. After the 3rd qualifier ,Ty’s TQ from the 2nd round still stood. In qual 4 Ty’s dogbone twisted off, opening the door for Associated’s Peter Toszer to take the TQ from Ty by 1 second. This set the stage for what would be an exciting main.
Peter Toszer, Ty and Wayne Mah pulled away from the field, but Ty was able to come away with the win putting the HotBodies TCX with PROTOform’s MazdaSpeed 6 body in the top podium position, Wayne would take 2nd with Peter finishing 3rd after an unfortunate marshaling incident. Ty’s TCX performed flawlessly for the main, we would like to thank Hiro. Even though he wasn’t there in person, he was still a huge help with setup through texting. We would also like to thank all the sponsors who made the awesome products that helped Ty secure the win!
Hotbodies/HPI, Pro-Line/PROTOform, Airtronics, Reedy, Muchmore, Upgrade, Dialed.
Thanks,
Gord Tessmann
