The race was at Trains and Lanes Hobbies in Easton, PA. Round # 1 had 194 entries and some of the best racers of the Mid Atlantic Region. Gabe put his Truggy & Buggy in the A-Mains.
His Kyosho’s Truggy equipment for this event included STRR Evo, Pro-Line Blockade M3 (Soft) mounted on VTR Zero Offset F/R Wheels, Trifecta Yellow Wing and Maxy’s Modified Cinco.
Chad Phillips got the TQ. We went to the final at 11.00pm under the lights. Chad flamed out and moved to the middle of the pack. I had a good battle with him trying to get the 3rd Place. We got 31-second fast laps. At the end I got a good 3rd Place moving into the podium.
Gabe‘s Kyosho’s Buggy equipment for the final race included MP9 TKI3, Pro-Line LockDown X3, Trifecta Yellow Wing and Maxy’s Modified Cuatro.
With only two quals, I had bad luck in my qualifiers and ended up in the B-Main. In the B-Main everything was different and I got the bump spot moving to the A-Main. I started the final in the 12th spot. I came back getting moved to the 3rd place. Then I got into a good 5-min battle with Jason Schaefler (TLR ). The car ran good the 25-min race with me finishing in 4th Place.
Big Thanks to James Cook and John Eldredge Jr for the super fast pit stops in Truggy and buggy race.
Huge Thanks to my Sponsors Pro-Line Racing, Kyosho, Maxy’s Pro Racing, LFR, Futaba, Stickit1 Racing, Mushroom Bowl Raceway & Hobby Shop, Boca Bearing, PT Racing, FTM Grip and Samuelson Design.
This is the Best 3 out of 4 Round Series. Now is time to make some improvements for the next race.
