This past weekend was the Midwest Regional Indoor Off-road Championship held at Race’em RC in Rockford, Illinois.
200 entries with some of the best drivers in the Midwest. Racers from Ohio to Nebraska and all the way up to Northern Wisconsin were in attendance.
My Tekin powered TLR vehicles all ran really well. I ran Pro-line Electrons in M4 compound on everything all weekend with great results.
In my 4WD SCT class I qualified 4th in the A-Main. Due to a really rough start I got stuffed back to 7th position. I relaxed and settled in to get it on the podium in 5th.
4WD Buggy was not as easy. The competition was fierce. I qualified in 10th and had it up to 7th at one point, but fell back to finish 10th.
All in all it was a great weekend considering I was battling Bronchitis all week.
