This past weekend I attended the 6th and final round of Colorado’s North Vs. South Series. Three rounds were held at MHOR R/C Raceway and three rounds including the final was held at Rocky Mountain R/C Raceway!
17.5 Buggy – 1st Place
I didn’t have to run 17.5 Buggy in the last race as I was able to lock up the overall championship in the first 4 rounds with 3 wins and 4 TQ’s. My AE B5 was on rails all series! I used the Phantom line of bodies, trifecta wings, and the combo of Transistors in the front with Suburbs in the rear (MC Compound at MHOR / M4 at RMRCR)
Mod 2wd Buggy – 2nd Place
In Mod 2wd it came down to the last race in the series between myself and Denver’s Lenard Munoz, I knew I needed to finish 2 positions ahead of him and didn’t quite get it done, I took home four 2nd place finishes and a TQ for the series, and that was good enough for second overall. My AE B5m was on pace all series! I used the Phantom line of bodies, trifecta wings, and the combo of Transistors in the front with Suburbs in the rear (MC Compound at MHOR / M4 at RMRCR)
