‘Bout Time!!

Well it’s that time again folks for another edition of the Bloganators blog about what the blog has been going on in his bogging life…hehe. This time, however, instead of what’s happening off the track lets talk about what brings all of us together here and that’s RC racing and of course Pro-Line!! As you all know this past week was the annual ROAR National Off-road Fuel Championships held at Leisure Hours RC Facility in Joliet, IL. The facilities at Leisure Hours catered perfectly to the 380+ entries all striving for the # 1 spot on the podium and the rights to be crowned National Champ…man wouldn’t that be nice! Anyways, with that being said I left H-town assured I had everything prepared perfectly from my cars, hotels, air planes, tires, fuel, rental cars and the list goes on and on. This year however I wanted more that just a solid showing and a front row seat to watch the countries fastest drivers duke it out with one another. I wanted to make the show myself so that others could see me race with the best for a change and finally I got my chance. I drove probably one of the best Semi mains I could to barely clip fellow Pro-Line team mate Matt Gosch to take the last bump spot to the big show, I could barely walk off the drivers stand because I was shaking so much…lol.

I knew going to the Nationals that I need to have the best equipment to do so and with Pro-Line backing me with the new VTR line of truck tires and wheels I know I had the best tire and tread and that the rest was simply up to me. The benefits of the VTR line includes the new easy glue bead, light weight, no balancing, consistency, long lasting wear and the acceleration and corner speed is just unbelievable. With the VTR line I feel like I can drive the truck harder into the corners but at the same time be more accurate with my lines and put the truck exactly where I want it to go.

So anyways I made the show and let me tell you driving in the A-main was like a cool Sunday stroll compared to the pressure it took getting there. LoL I consider the race a huge stepping stone for me finishing 8th in Truggy and 24th in buggy (Worlds Qualifier) and none of this would be possible without my sponsors, family and friends who have given me so much support. So thank you to the whole Pro-Line team and I will continue working hard to make sure it’s not my last time to make a National driver introduction. So until then, get out and enjoy RC and try some Pro-Line products cause like they say “Simply the fastest RC accessories on the planet”.
