I would like to share the results from the past weekends at the 1st annual Pro-Line Lone Star Dirt Nitro Challenge in Austin, Tx at Thornhill RC Circuit using the new Pro-Line LockDown tire.

The ever changing track conditions and track temperature played a big role in choosing the right tire and with the new LockDown tire available at the track it was a great opportunity to use it and see how it stacks up against the Blockade tire.

The 1st 2 rounds on Friday of open nitro buggy qualifying I went out on X3 Blockades and had some really good runs sitting 12th overall after 2 rounds. For the 3rd round on Saturday it was a great opportunity to try the new tire in X3 compound and the results were outstanding, I was on TQ pace and had one bobble and finished 5th overall for the round.

The tire had great forward bite on the dusty and rough track, but yet they were very easy to drive, can’t wait to try them at the next race!
