The 2014 JBRL Nitro Series started this past weekend at Thunder Alley Raceway. Pro-Line has signed on once again this year as one of the title sponsors. With over 200 entries the action was non stop. Here is a quick breakdown on the Pro-Line Racing team’s results at this world class event!
The HoleShot tire was the tire of choice for the weekend and brought home the Pro-Line Sweep!
Expert Buggy. 1st Adam Drake (Holeshot 2.0), 2nd Cody King (Holeshot 2.0), 3rd Drew Moller (Holeshot 2.0)
“In the first round of nitro buggy Cody King set the TQ followed by Adam Drake. In the second round of qualifying Drake would improve his time with his Nova Rossi powered TLR 8ight 3.0 to
take the overall top qualifier honors by a little over two seconds. At the start of the final Drake and King set a blistering pace and drove away from the field. Cody took over the lead just before Drake pitted, but Drake was able to take back the lead following a mistake on Cody’s pit lap. The two driver’s stayed within 3-5 seconds the remainder of the race with Drake taking the win, followed, by Cody King and Drew Moller. The top three drivers used Pro-Line Holeshot 2.0 tires.” – Adam Drake

“The truggy main was very exciting as Adam and I would battle for the entire main. I would make the final pass with about 4 minutes left and pull about a one second gap and hold it there for the win. Drake would end up 2nd and Pro-Line’s Kyle McBride would end up 3rd.” – Cody King
