Come and gone is the 13th Annual Hot Rod Hobbies Shootout. This event is one of the most prestigious events in 1:10 Electric Racing today and I was happy to be there supporting Team Pro-Line. This race brought International talent from Japan and Europe, as well as some of the best and closest competition I have seen in years. It began with qualifying Friday and Saturday, July 16th and 17th. Over 310 people signed up for this event and it was a blast!
Throughout the weekend, there were several of our drivers qualifying for the top spots. Names like Ryan Cavalieri, Travis Amezcua, Chris Jarosz, Chad Bradley, Brian Kinwald, and Rob Gillespie. There were also several privateers that did very well running our tires. Jimmy Webster TQ’d the Spec SC class running MX Suburbs SC front and rear. We would also like to thank these privateers, James Groissant, Lyle Spangler, Richard Watchorn, and Brett Richards for doing very well at the race.
Pro-Line was there in force and we are very happy that the team did so well! Big Congrats to Ryan Cavalieri for taking home the victory in both 2WD modified and 4WD modified. Thanks from Team Pro-Line.
