Round 5 of JBRL was held at my local track Controlled Chaos Raceway in Palmdale, CA. The track was ran in blue-groove conditions. I ran Pro-Line Suburbs in MX compound and the track was swept and prepped all through the day. There was 270 entries with 34 heats, making for another long JBRL day.
I ran Mod 2wd Buggy and 2wd SC and I ended up TQing in pro 2 of SC and won the main with my Pro-Line kicks! In Mod 2wd Buggy I ended up qualifying 2nd behind Steven Hartson and one spot ahead of Mike Truhe.
The mod buggy main was pretty good but we all made slight mistakes. I ended up taking 2nd behind Steven Hartson and 3rd went to Hayoto Matuszaki. Overall my Kyosho rides were off the hook and my Pro-Line kicks ran good all day! I had a fun day.
Other Pro-Line drivers had a great day as well. Chris Blais took home TQ and 2nd in Pro-4 and Chris Jarosz finished 2nd in Electric 1/8 buggy! Congrats Team-Pro-Line!
