The Waterfront Point Series Held at Havasu R/C Raceway in Beautiful Lake Havasu City, came to a close this past Saturday night. This was just a local point series but there was no shortage of competition. In the 2wd SCT Class it was team driver Jason Miller taking home the points win with his brother Chris Miller, finishing a close 2nd, Hole Shot 2.0 M3’s being the tire of choice for the tacky track surface, and both drivers running the new Chevy Flo-Tek bodies which are invaluable since there is always a light breeze coming off the lake. In the 2wd Buggy class it was Chris Miller taking the win, with Jason Miller tying for the win, and Chris winning the tie breaker. Hole Shot M4’s were the tire of choice for the 2wd buggies, with bulldog bodies.
