It was a pretty solid event with around 40 participants from all over the country. The main objective of the race was to get to the top of the course as fast as possible, which was no easy task with only four people being able to make it to the top. The event was right in the middle of the full sized KOH event with the high-horsepower cars pre-running the race right next to all of us. There was a lot of cheering and applause as participants jumped and flew through he air while trying to beat the clock. Whether or not you were able to complete the course, you were met with applause and positivity for your efforts.
The winner of the event was Pro-Line’s very own Jake Wright with his Axial Bomber sporting 2.2 Hyrax tires taking home a substantial $500 prize. Also had a chance to chat with Clyde Bynum, the owner of the hugely popular full size group SRRS (Southern Rock Racing Series). Horizon and other RC Partners will be a big part of this in 2020.
Overall it was a successful event with excitement and positivity in the air.
