Event: GS Hobby Turkey Trott Race

Class: 4wd Mod Buggy

Tires used: Pro-Line Prism m3 compound fronts and Pro-Line V2 M2 Prism rears

Yesterday I attended the GS Hobbies Turkey Trot big race in Fort Smith Arkansas. With a brand new installed astoturf surface it would make an interesting day, and with a big turnout of 112 entries it would be a long challenging day.
The tight track with huge wall ride was a battle with everyone running quick 10 second laps it was a battle with traffic from the start to end of each race.
In 4wd Mod qualifiers my Associated B74 on Pro-Line prism tires was working great and I was able to put my self in the #3 spot for the Amain feature race.
In the 4wd Mod Buggy Amain feature I would get a bad start with a missed jump on the 1st corner and would end up in last place after the 1st corner and slowly work my way back through the other drivers to the 2nd spot by the race end but unable to catch the 1st place driver who has gotten to far ahead.

It was nice to try a different surface than I have ever raced on, was different than the traditional carpet surface. I am proud of my driving and making my way back to the front of each one of my mains after bad starts with such a talented group of drivers.
