The 1/10 Ifmar Electric Offroad Worlds has come and gone again for another 2 years, and while my results were definitely not what I wanted, it was definitely the best worlds event I have ever been to, nothing was overlooked.  Huge thanks and congratulations to the Hudy family and the whole crew at the Hudy arena for all their hard work on this amazing event.

We started with the 2wd portion for the event, we had 4 rounds of open practice followed by 2 rounds of seeding practice based on your 2 fastest consecutive laps, in which I seeded second.  The next day we had one more round of practice in the morning to determine where you would start in your qualifier based on the whole 5 minute run,  this was followed by 4 qualifiers.  The next day had 1 more qualifier followed by the main events.  I would have up and down results in qualifying which would land me 7^th on the grid for the triple A mains.  This would be my first time making the A main event in 2wd at the worlds.  Starting in the back I knew it would be tough and it definitely was and I would only be able to come away with 8^th place overall.

The next day was a day off, which we used to prep my 4wd and glue tires and relax a little bit.  Again the next day we would have the same schedule as 2wd with 4 rounds of open practice and 2 rounds of seeding practice  and I was able to seed third.  In qualifying I again had some struggles and would end up qualifying 9^th for the triple A mains.  I had a feeling the mains would be a little bit more exciting as far as passing goes and I was looking forward to trying to improve on my starting position.  Before the mains started we had a warmup practice and I was able to try some changes to my setup which I thought were really good and improved my confidence going into the mains.  After the mains were done I was able to come away with 5^th place overall. 

I want to give a huge congratulations to Xray having 4 cars in the top 6 in the 4wd main. Congratulations to Bruno in 4wd and Spencer in 2wd on their hard fought wins.
