Great weekend at the 2019 Mugen Challenge hosted by LCRC Raceway. I was able to win the 30-minute nitro buggy final, win the electric buggy final, and finish second in nitro truck after a flameout.
The 2019 Mugen Challenge was held at the LCRC Raceway attracting 389 entries! The event kicked off on Wednesday with a mechanics clinic. The clinic educated drivers and mechanics with maintenance tips and vehicle setup. Thursday was the annual Drake Clinic. We spent the day working with drivers to help improve setups, line selection, and driving technique. Mother nature canceled the dirt oval racing Thursday night and delayed the start of open practice on Friday morning. The weather was perfect for qualifying on Saturday and the main events on Sunday.
Special thanks to everyone that attended the 2019 Mugen Challenge, LCRC Raceway, the event sponsors, and all the companies that support me!
