Yesterday was Nwa Raceway’s American Payday cash payout race. I would compete in 2wd mod buggy and 4wd buggy classes.
In the 2wd mod buggy qualifiers my Associated B6.1 on Pro-Line Prism tires was on rails all day and I was able to set Tq for this class.
Later in the 2wd buggy main I would get out quick with another driver, but with some mistakes from the other driver, I would pull away and in the end, I’d win by a full 5 seconds over the next closest driver.
In the 4wd mod class my Associated B74 on Pro-Line Prism tires was handling awesome as usual, and I again was able to set Tq for this class.
In the 4wd main I would break out and have a bumper to bumper battle with another driver just waiting for the right time to pass, then make the pass and with the other drivers mistakes, and pull away, winning by almost 9 seconds over the next closest driver.
It was also great to have my fellow Associated teammate Louis Boucher come up and race with me, along with watching him take his Associated B74 wire to wire for the win in the 13.5 4wd class.
I would like to thank Nwa Raceway for putting on an awesome race and great facility to call my home track.
And team Associated, Reedy and Pro-Line Racing for all they do to help keep me on top.
