I had a blast this past weekend at Otterville Raceway RC for the 1st Race of the Ottercup Series. The track was technical but a lot of fun which made for some great racing. I ran my usual 3 classes, E-truggy, Nitro Truggy and E-buggy.
In E-truggy and Nitro Truggy my Mugen MBX8TE and MBX8T ran great throughout the event which helped me secure TQ in both classes and go on to take the win in both as well. This was my first time racing the new trucks outdoors and all I have to say is Wow. They handled great and are excellent in the corners. In E-buggy my Mugen MBX8E felt great as well. I made some mistakes during qualifying and the double-A mains but still finished 2nd overall which I was real happy with. Pro-Line Buck Shots and Hole Shots kept my cars hooked to the track. Pro-Line bodies made the vehicles look good and handle well. It was good to see a lot of friends that I haven’t seen since last year. Last but not least a HUGE thanks to my Dad for all his help throughout the weekend.
