This past weekend I raced the Winter Classic at LSR Raceway.

I raced 2WD Mod Buggy and 4WD Mod Buggy. I have been going to Lsr for the past couple Saturdays to get my cars better on the low-medium grip clay track and there was some more practice on Friday before the race.

Thanks to doing this I had my XB2’17CE and XB4’17 dialed on Pro-Line MC Electrons on the Front and Pro-Line MC Positrons on the rear powered by Hobbywing.

In round 1 of qualifying for 2WD Mod Buggy, I had a couple mistakes but ran clean laps to top qualified the first round of 2WD Mod Buggy. In 4wd mod buggy, I had a couple mistakes but still was able to get a 2nd for the round. In the 2nd round of qualifying in 2WD Mod Buggy, I had a bad run but still was able to get fourth for the round. The 2nd round of 4WD Mod Buggy, I had a clean run to top qualify the 2nd round. My TQ runs were faster then the other drivers that had TQ runs, that put me on the pole for the A-Main in both of my cars.

In mains, the 2WD Mod Buggy A-Main was an exciting race to watch. It was a battle between Brian Strange and I. I would lead for a couple laps then Brian would lead for a couple laps. I then hit the brakes too hard at the end of the straight away. I spun out and that let Brian get away and as a result of that, I finished in 2nd for 2WD Mod Buggy. For the 4WD Mod Buggy A-Main, I had clean run with no mistakes which let me take the win.
