This last week I attended the ROAR 1:8 Electric Off-Road Nationals held at Amain’s Silver Dollar Raceway. I would run both Truggy and Buggy. Wednesday practice would go smooth making only a few small suspension changes to my cars. Since the track changed only 30% from the old layout, I would feel pretty comfortable right away. Thursday would be two rounds of seeding practice. I would get two decent runs in each class putting me in the B-Main re-sort in both classes.
My Tekno cars were outfitted with Pro-Line X3 Hole Shots and Trifecta Wing
Friday and Saturday would be our qualifying days, running two quals each day. In the end I would get two top 10 runs in each class putting me in the main in both classes! I would start 11th in Buggy and 10th in truck. Sunday morning before the Mains I would also win the concourse competition in Buggy which was pretty cool for me and my painter!
Continuously making changes to my cars, feeling more and more comfortable. In the triple Mains, I would luckily have some good runs finishing 8th in buggy and 10th in truck where I qualified. Also I would be the highest finishing Tekno in the Buggy class!
Overall I’m super happy with how it went as it far exceeded my expectations.
My Tekno cars were outfitted with Tekin electronics, Pro-Line X3 Hole Shots, and Trifecta Wing were phenomenal all week! A big thanks to my sponsors for the continued support, Tekno RC, Proline, Tekin, Amain, Protek, MIP, Schelle, BOOMrc, and RAD Painting.
