I headed to Mushroom Bowl RC this past Saturday for the Roar Region 2 Off Road Series race #4. Both HB Racing Buggy’s felt great on the dry and later rain softened layout. After 3 rounds of qualifying I would start 4th on the grid in E-Buggy and 7th in Nitro Buggy. The E-Buggy Main was the most fun I’ve had on the track in a long time going back and forth with Tyler Cook of Xray. Nitro Buggy didn’t fair so well on the wet track and an early flame-out took me out of the race.
Throughout qualifying X3 Fugitive Lites were hooked up on the dry track, however, after the rain I switched to M4 Blockades for the Mains.
