This past weekend I attend the Manufacturers Cup at Amain’s Silver Dollar raceway.
I raced Pro Nitro Buggy, Pro Nitro Truggy, and Pro E-Buggy. I ran Pro-Line M3 Hole Shots in the morning and X3 Hole Shots in the heat of the day. The layout was a Reedy Race format for the Pro classes.
That means that every race is a Main, there were 4 Mains for each car, Nitro Mains were 14-minutes and E-Buggy was 9-minutes.
Friday was practice. I ran X3 Hole Shots all day and my cars felt good all day. The pro classes, we got to feel what the starts were going to be like because the open classes were doing seeding. Saturday was A1 and A2. E-Buggy I had a DNF in A1 and A2 I got a 5th not running my car, thank you Kerry Lemos.
Pro Nitro Truggy, A1 I was in top 5 then I flamed out. A2 I had a 8th because I crashed a couple times. In Pro Nitro Buggy and got a 3rd in both in A1 and A2 after having two amazing race. Sunday A3 and A4. In E-Buggy I had a DNF in A3 and in A4 I was battling and holding of Ryan Lutz and Ryan Mayfield and finished 4th after they had gotten around me. In A3 of Pro Nitro Truggy I finished 7th after I crashed. In A4 I hit the pipe and a couple laps later I broke. In Pro Nitro Buggy I had gotten a 3rd in A3 and in A4 I got a 6th and I finished 8th overall for the weekend.
