Round #2 of the Florida SuperCup series was in full swing by making the much-anticipated return to Lake Park in Lutz, FL. Lake Park holds so many memories with racing going back 30+ years and the site of the legendary Florida Winter Champs.
With 254 Entries on the day, the fastest racers from Florida and Georgia collided to make this a Must Attend event.
Landen ran Pro-Line M4 Hole Shots on the front and rear of his X-Ray XB2 Buggy.
Last month, the 1st round was held at Beachline Raceway which recently converted to astroturf. Lake Park was a much different experience where every driver sought to find the softest pin tire they could get their hands on. With rooster tails, old school racing was back.
In Mod 2WD Buggy, Landen Lewis would battle with the star-studded class of drivers and come home with a 3rd place finish. Landen ran Pro-Line M4 Hole Shots on the front and rear of his X-Ray XB2 Buggy.
In 2WD Expert Stock Buggy, Daniel Chavez had some great runs on the day and took overall TQ and come in 2nd place overall
In Mod 2wd Truck, Landen and TLR driver JR Mitch, broke away from the field and put on a great show for all to watch. With a few minutes left to go, JR made a slight bobble and allowed Landen to slip by. Landen kept the lead and brought home the win. Landen ran Pro-Line M4 Hole Shots on the Rear and M3 Edges on the front.
13.5 4WD Buggy has become a large class over the past 2 years and Pro-Line Drivers Derek Jacobs and Ben Pinover would finish 2nd and 3rd respectfully.
Round #3 will travel north next month to Newberry, FL.
