This past weekend I traveled down to Savannah, GA for the 11th annual Phil Hurd Raceway Colonel’s Winter Classic.
When we arrived Friday for practice the track was in prime condition and i was feeling good on M4 Fugitive Lites.
Friday night a strong rain came through making Saturday’s qualifiers start a 5 pm after a 8 hr delay for track repairs. The track crew was able to get the track back race-able and I ran M4 Electrons in Q1.
Finished Q1 6th overall. After round 1 the decision was made to run Q2 Sunday morning then the Mains. After RD 2 I was qualified 7th for the A-Main.
In the Main I went back to M4 Fugitive Lites and was able to podium in the 5th spot.
