2WD Mod Buggy:

Qual 1: Super smooth run but had 2 crashes at the end and got an 11 for round 1.

Qual 2: I had the same run as round 1 but without the crashes, and got a 7 for round 2.

Qual 3: I was trying different lines and didn’t have the best run with a 12 for the round.

Qual 4: I was still trying different lines/found the right lines and got a 9 for that round.

B-Main: Somehow a 7 and a 9 placed me 12 after qualifying. The B-Main went well but not well enough and finished 8 tenths out of the bump spot.

Top 10 2wd mod (A-Main):

#1 Jonathan Burkhalter (Kyosho)

#2 Chris Baumgartner (TLR)

#3 Brad Dean (TQ) (Assosiated)

#4 Matt Cline (Assosiated)

#5 Matt Gosch (Assosiated)

#6 Zach Phillips (Assosiated)

#7 Nate Jaskot (Assosiated)

#8Tom Rinderkenchat (Assosiated)

#9 Jacob Montgomery (Assosiated)

#10 Adam Rayls (Assosiated)

4WD Mod Buggy:

Qual 1 and 2: Had a TQ run going and crashed on the last couple of laps… sooo.. I got a 2nd for those 2 rounds.

Qual 3: I had a to many bobbles and run ins with lap traffic, and got a 3 for round 3.

Qual 4: I made a shock setup change to handle the bumps better and the car was much easier to drive and I TQ’d by 5 tenths of a second. I wasn’t trying to drive super hard, I just wanted a solid finish for the final round and it paid off.

-I started 2nd in the Mains

A1: I lost the 2nd place spot on the second turn because I pounced off the tube cutting the turn a little too tight, but I got the spot back not long after, but I couldn’t catch up to the leader, Tom.

A1 finish top 5:

#1 Tom Rinderkenchat

#2 Dillon Caldwell

#3 Jonathan Burkhalter

#4 Matt Cline

#5 Colton Kiefer

A2: I was able to get into the lead in the middle of the race but a lapper tried to let me by and took me out and I dropped down to the 4th spot but I was able to get into the 3rd spot in the final minute.

A2 finish top 5:

#1 Jonathan Burkhalter

#2 Nate jaskot

#3 Dillon Caldwell

#4 Tom Rinderkenchat

#5 Cole Gierse

A3: At this point I knew I needed to win this last race to have a chance at the overall win. But I also knew if I win and Jonathan or Tom got 2nd then it would go to a ty breaker. So in this last race I tried to play my cards as safe as possible, and I did! I didn’t have any crashes on my own. I got into the #1 spot by waiting for the right time to pass or a crash, I knew I couldn’t risk a takeout because 3rd and 4th were right behind me. So on the 6th lap Tom (the TQ driver) had a crash, and I drove right by with 3rd and 4th fallowing me.. still! I tried to still play it safe but Jonathan was right behind me, on the last lap Jonathan crashed and all I could think about was finishing the lap strong and that Jonathans crash was going to make the tie breaker go more my way.

A3 Finish top 5:

#1 Dillon Caldwell

#2 Jonathan Burkalter

#3 Nate Jaskot

#4 Matt Cline

#5 Tom Rinderkenchat
