I attend the 2016 IFMAR World Championships Warm Up Race At RC Tracks of Las Vegas. I ran Nitro Buggy and E-Buggy. Tuesday and Wednesday was practice, my D815 and D815E ran well. We changed the setup both days to help enhance their performance. Thursday was seeding, my D815 and D815E ran amazingly in seeding. I was able to seed in the B-Main for Nitro, car #11,and E-Buggy the A seed with car #11. Friday was qualifying.
My Tires of choice was the Pro-Line M3 SwitchBlade for my 30 minute 1/4 final.
In E-Buggy qualifying, I had some ups and downs, but was able to make the B-Main. In Nitro Buggy, I had good qualifying that put me in the top 25 each round.Saturday was last round of qualifying also mains day. In the last round of E-Buggy, I broke down and that put me in the b main starting in 6th place In nitro I had a good run and it put me in the 1/4 odd Nitro Buggy Main starting in 4th place. Race 1 was the Buggy B-Main.At the start of my 10 minute B-Main, I had some mistakes but my Protek rc 5000 mah powered my Hobbywing electronics and D815E to a transfer starting in 11th place in the A-Main I ran Pro-line M3 SwitchBlade for the B-Main and in the A-Main. The E-Buggy A-Main started good and I had some good racing and finished in 7th. The start of my 1/4 odd Nitro Buggy Main was rough. I fell back from 4th to 9th, but my Protek rc servos and engine and VP racing fuels gave me the speed to go back up to 4th and finish there.
I would like to thank everyone that helped me; The Tessmann family, Kevin Palmer for the help all weekend long, and Mark Schroeder as well. I would also like to thank my sponsors; HB Racing, Pro-Line Racing, Amain.com, Hobbywing, Vp Racing Fuels, Ogio, Maddox Designs, Reds Air Brush Designs, and hooked tire sauce.
