This past weekend was the 30th annual Pro-Line Cactus Classic hosted by Hobbytown USA/ SRS Raceway in Phoenix, AZ. I competed in 3 classes total which were 17.5 Buggy, 2WD Modified Buggy, and 2WD Modified Short Course.
Chris ran Pro-Line 1:10 Buggy Primes, and Short Course Primes
In 2WD Modified Buggy I would struggle some with putting in clean runs and end up in the C-Main, In Short Course I managed 2 good runs and would start 5th for the Triple A-Mains on Sunday, After all 3 Mains I would end up 5th overall.
In 17.5 buggy which was the largest class of the weekend I would fare my best by TQing 3 out of the 4 rounds of qualifying so would start from the pole position for the 7-minute Main. I managed to get an early lead and would lead every lap to take the overall victory in the 17.5 Buggy division.
