Now jumping into racing.
Seeding and Practice :
Wednesday was practice and seeding. My practice and seeding went well in Nitro Truggy my D8T TE was great from the start.. It was also E-Buggy practice I had not had much time in this car actually only 2 battery packs the weekend before. the d815e was awesome so easy to drive made for a great seeding for me. I seeded in the A qualifier for both cars. I missed the setup on my Nitro Buggy and I seeded in the C-qualifier.
Qualifying:
Thursday was E-Buggy and Nitro Truggy qualifying. My D8TTE and D815E were awesome all day long. After qualifying I top qualified Expert Nitro Truggy and in Expert E-Buggy I qualified 5th in the A-Main.
Friday was qualifying for Buggy. In my first qualifier I flamed out at the end. The next two qualifiers were good but were not good enough to get me in the A-Main. Which qualified me 2nd in the B-Main.
Saturday was mains for e buggy and Nitro Truggy . As the day went on, the track was getting rough with holes and big bumps. My expert e buggy main was 10 minutes long.
Ron Schuur from Hobbywing did some adjustments to my ESC and installed a new motor and the changes where great! At the start of my expert E-Buggy Main I had some issues. I started 5th and finished 6th and my Hobbywing motor and ESC gave me a lot of power and my Protek RC 5000 mah battery lasted all 10 minutes.
I also went with Pro-Line LockDowns in X3 compound they worked great..
My expert Truggy A-Main started off real rough I feel all the way to 9th from TQ but I came back to 2nd only finishing .08 off of first place. My Protek RC motor and servos gave me plenty of power to finish 2nd in the expert Truggy A-Main.
My rubber of choice was the Pro-Line X3 Suppressors knowing that I would get good tires wear and was able to push for all the 30 minutes.
Sunday Nitro Buggy Mains day:
I starting 2nd in the expert buggy B-Main and after 20-minutes I just held my poistion making sure to move on to the A main by finishing in 2nd place. In the A main I started 14th and after a couple of laps I was in the top 5. I battled on with my Hot Bodies D815 powered by a Protek RC Samurai on Pro-Line X3 suppressors, and I finished 3rd.
I would especially like to thank the Dirt Crew for building an awesome track. Overall this was a great week of racing.
