Speed R/C in Mooresville, NC hosted the final race in the 2015 Carolina Indoor Series. When the final race concluded and all the points were tallied up, I found myself on the podium in each of the three classes I raced, collecting 1st, 2nd and 3rd place plaques.

In the 4WD SCT division, I seized top honors in the series after winning the third and final race. With the win, I ended the series with two first place finishes and a second place finish in my main class. I would like to give a huge shout out to Bullit Performance Hobby Shop in Raleigh, NC for keeping my Tekno SCT410.3 always ready to race and ordering any replacement parts I needed throughout the series. In such a short series, it was crucial to finish each race and their support throughout the 2015 season has allowed me to keep my trucks on the track and out of the pits for the majority of races.

With my Tekno EB48.2 E-Buggy, I raced to a second place finish overall. The E-Buggy class was the least attended classes at the series but I appreciated the race directors offering the E-Buggy division and allowing me the opportunity to turn laps with my Buggy and ultimately do some testing and tuning that will hopefully assist me at future races.

Due to the travel involved, I decided to run a third class to maximum my track time. The final class I ran was 1:10 4WD Buggy. I picked up a used 4WD Buggy right before the series so I would definitely say I was learning on the fly. It is one of the most competitive classes in our area so I was excited to just reach the podium. I ended up losing a close tiebreaker for 2nd place and dropped to 3rd overall for the series. However, I was extremely happy with the results especially considering the level of competition and the fact that it was a new class for me.

I would like to say thanks to Pro-Line Racing, I used several different Tire compounds and tread styles on all my vehicles and at each track. I typically bounced back and forth between M4 Primes and Electrons though ran clay compounds at one of the tracks.

Also a big thanks to Boca Bearings for their awesome bearings, I continue to use their green seal bearings, which have kept all my vehicles rolling smoothly.

Finally thanks to The Warehouse R/C Complex, Beach R/C and Speed R/C for all working together and providing the racers in our area a fun, enjoyable series.
