Enzo Albertoni at Gets his Turkey Leg using Pro-Line Primes

On November 21st I attended the 2015 Turkey Leg Shootout held at “The Track” in Gaithersburg, Maryland! I came in with the mentality of just going out and running my best!

Primes where on point ALLLLLLLLLL DAY!! Thanks again to Daniel and Jessica @ Pro-Line for all the love!

I started out the day with M4 Pro-Line Primes with FDJ Red Tire Sauce and the car was getting there as I needed to break in my fresh set of Tires. Went out for some practice and by the 3rd pack Tires where in race spec condition and ready to kick butt!

Q1 went well not as many laps as I would have liked but we did get the first and managed to take and hold on to the TQ and it was great! Q2 didn’t really go as planned as we suffered a minor electrical problem which took me out of Q2 early. Q3 was make it or break it for me I was staring 9th on the grid in Q3 almost getting bumped out of the A-Main grid…we went up on that stand with our mind in BEAST MODE, and we managed to take full advantage of it.

Half way through Q3 I was on TQ pace fighting for the top 3 starting grid for the A-Main and we made a little tiny mistake which cost me that but put me in an awesome 5th place starting position out of the other 65 2WD Buggy drivers at the race!!!

The Mains could have gone better me and my good buddy Jeff started the race as we where all following the leader he accidentally got into me and dropped me to last so I had to go hammer down to catch back up but we did, we ended up fighting for the top 5 spot again but in the end it just wasn’t my race day haha, so I ended up taking 6th place in the 2WD Buggy A-Main! Pro-Line Primes where dialed all day and everything was super fun! Mimi Wong (Owner of the track) did a great job as always! Our awesome event sponsors: PT RC Racing Shock and Diff Oil, Sweep Racing USA, Schelle Racing and Hobby Authority!

I couldn’t do what I do without the support of my awesome sponsors: Pro-Line Racing, Futaba, Hobbico, FDJ Motorsports, Lunsford Racing, PT RC Racing, J&T Bearing Co. and Moto1 R/C Painting.
