I attended the Otterville Finale this past weekend (Tillsonburg, Ontario). This one day race brought in 150 entries of the some of the fastest drivers across Ontario. With a tight time schedule and no practice I was able to qualify in the B-Main for Buggy and the A-Main for Truggy. I bumped out of the B-Main Buggy race and made it up to 6th place in the A-Main but after some mistakes I ended up 10th overall.
In the Truggy A-Main I raced hard to the finish line and after starting 7th on the grid I finished 2nd overall.
An excellent race day and my preparation/setup is really starting to pay off. All of this after a top 20 finish at the 2015 Mugen Challenge in Pro Truggy (295 entries) @ LCRC in Oakland Mills, PA.
My TLR 8ight 3.0 Buggy and Truggy ran great all day.
In Buggy I used Pro-line X3 Fugitives and in Truggy I used X3 Suppressors.
My REDS Racing R5 and R5TE3 engines ran strong all day even with the high humidity that caused others tuning issues throughout the day.
Thank you to all of the support I get from the great companies I represent. Horizon Hobby, TLR, Pro-Line, Reds Racing and UpgradeRC
Thanks,
Chris Capelo
