The 2nd Round of the German 1:8 Nitro Buggy Nationals where held in Coesfeld. The track was very unique with astroturf, grass and stone parts. It was difficult to find a good Tire for those conditions, but my Pro-Line Bow-Tie 2.0 tires handled them with no problems. I was able to TQ overall and another Serpent Cobra 2.2 in the hands of Daniel Reckwardt made it into the ½ final.

A very heavy storm during the night from Saturday to Sunday destroyed many tents and the track was completely watered. The Coesfeld track crew work hard to get the track back in good shape. The start delayed a little bit, but everything got underway at 11 o´clock. The sun came out and it was super hot, about 30 degrees, by the time my ½ final was up, the track was completely dry like in qualifying. I had a pretty good start and won my ½ final, to start on pole position for the 40-minutes Main final. The final started worked perfect from start to finish, no mistake and 1 lap lead to 2nd place.
