This past weekend I had the awesome pleasure to race the 2015 Nitro Masters at Henry County RC in McDonough, Georgia ….There was an awesome crowd of “nitro-only” racers in attendance …The Track is known to have a high grip and also is fairly abrasive on Tires …It was really a crap-shoot on what Tires would work

I was faced with some not so great qualifying runs and i had to make the “bump-up” out of the B-Main …

I threw on a set of X2 LockDowns and it was just what the doctor ordered… I was able to make it through the 10-minute B-Main and still had tons of Tire left… and I got the last bump spot!!!!!!

In the 20-minute A-Main I started dead last 🙂 but I was able to make a charge to 8th place giving me a top 10 for the day …The X4 Fugitives that I ran came off with plenty of tread left …They were just awesome …I’m so glad to have such a great company behind me with innovative compounds and tread designs that help in situations where others are just wondering what to run !
