After cancellation of original dates for round 2 of Colorado Off-road Series due to Tornado warning and massive rain storms, the race was held this past weekend at Burlington, CO at Dirtworks RC Raceway. Bill Parsons the owner, did an amazing job repairing the Track for us.

Friday racers arrived to get some much needed practice on this amazing track. The layout was super technical and a lot of fun. I had some time on Friday to get my practice underway after work. With help of my good friend and a awesome pit guy Tony Mojanovski, we were able to run two bottles of fuel trough my Cars before rain struck again. That Friday night we received over 6″ of rain. Track was in very good shape the next day just needed little repairs to get the qualifying under way. Unfortunately the qualifying started little late for me as I had plans that Saturday with my lovely girl.

After missing all qualifying for Buggy and Truggy I had to start my Bump in Truggy to A-Main and I made it possible by using a set of used M3 Blockades.

For the 30-minute Main in Truggy I used X3 new sets of Blockades and I was lucky enough to get through the field and take the lead before first pit stop. My HPI/HB D8TTE felt so locked down to the track on X3 Blockades and it was just pure enjoyment driving the car and taking The Win at the end.

In the Buggy A-Main I started Last on the grid due to no Qual points. For the Buggy Main I used fresh set of M3 Blockades and I was able to fight through the field and finish 3rd on the grid to secure the lead in the points.

Overall the race was a lot of fun. The track held up really good with all the rain that it got. And I would like to say thanks to all that helped this weekend. Thank you Bill Parsons and John Martin for this great event.

Most of all thanks to Pro-Line Racing, HPI/Hot Bodies, Byrons Fuels and TKR Graphix for all the support.

Cheers,
Addy Musaefendic
