Round 2 of the Midwest RC Tour was held this past weekend at Thunder Road Hobbies in E. Moline, IL.

A pretty bleak forecast hurt the entry count a little but still had 90 entries spread across Nitro Truggy, E-Buggy and Nitro Buggy.

I would run Nitro Buggy and E-Buggy as usual. The layout was pretty straight forward with a couple of critical timing jumps. Qualifying was really close but as the 2nd round of qualifying came around the sun broke thru and the track started changing drastically. I ended up qualifying 3rd in both classes but I was super confident in my cars going into the Mains.

Up first would be A1 of the double A-Mains for E-Buggy. The start wasn’t that great even though I got right into 2nd, had a little trouble finding my rhythm early on but a costly mistake by the leader got me into the lead and after a few laps I was able to stretch out a good lead and cruise on to the win. A2 would be a much better start and I was able to grab the lead on lap 2.I crashed on the 4th or 5th lap and that put 2nd and 3rd all over me but they would tangle and

I again stretched out a big lead and cruised on to take the overall Win in E-Buggy!

After a short 10-minute break we were up in Nitro Buggy. Warm up was good and I was ready! My Nitro Buggy was just fantastic all weekend and that would continue in the Main Event.

I again took the lead on Lap 2 and would go on to win the Main by almost 2 laps on 2nd place.
