Yaniv Sivan Wins 2015 Omer London Cup Using Pro-Line Blockades

This past weekend hosted the first Omer London Cup, a memorial event for the talented young Israeli driver Omer London who passed away 3 months ago. The event was held at Ein Vered racing track near Natanya, Israel. The Cup was organized by Omer London’s family, Asi Bitton, Guy Eskenazi, Meir Abukasis, and many more. More than 45 drivers gathered to participate in the special event, divided among 1:8 Nitro and Electric Buggy classes.

After qualifying it was Yaniv Sivan who held the TQ position in the Nitro Buggy class, while Omer Assayag sat on top the field in the Electric Buggy class.

The 40-minute Nitro Buggy final saw Yaniv Sivan take a clean victory from start to finish with a strong battle behind him for second and third.

Tal Siles would take second, and Aviv Mimon third. In the Electric Buggy class there would be three A-Mains each being 7-minutes long. After the finals were complete and the points were tallied, it was TQ Omer Assayag with the win. Yossi Algebrey would take an impressive second place finish, with Assaf Gorevich finishing third.
