This past weekend I attended the Spring Fever RC Smackdown at Twissted RC. Thank you to Small Addictions RC for making the race possible and everyone at Twissted.

The surface of Twissted is AstroTurf with sand so traction varies all day from low to medium bite.

I raced: 4WD Mod Buggy, 2WD Mod Buggy, 2WD 17.5 Buggy, and Stadium Truck.

4WD Mod Buggy-

My Hot Bodies D413 with Pro-Line Pin Points was hooked up all day.

I set TQ in round 1 and then reset TQ in round 2, improving my time by 8-seconds. The Main however didn’t go as planned, I got collected on the first lap and dropped to last and with a tight field with limited passing I ended up 5th.

Pro-Line products used- Type-R body, Closed Cell Foam Front and Rear, Yellow Velocity Wheels with B44 Front offset, and Pro-Line Pin Points for tires.

2WD Mod Buggy-
I qualified 3rd after a mistake in qualifying that would drop me off pace. The Main went good until a little over half way I was running 4th and had a cut out somewhere in my electronics then my car came back after putting me down two laps I’d finish 7th.

Pro-Line products used- Trifecta Wing, Phantom Body, yellow Velocity Wheels, Closed Cell Foam front and rear and Pin Point Tires

2WD 17.5 Buggy-
I qualified 3rd again with some really tight racing in the top 5. In the main there was some great battles. While in a battle where the top 3 were in the same corner and I was in 2nd I got the short end of it and was sent back to 5th. I would finish the race in 4th.

Stadium Truck-
I took TQ in both rounds of qualifying and my car was awesome all day! The stadium truck main went as I wanted it to and I didn’t get caught up with any drivers and I lead from start to finish.

Pro-Line products used- Closed Cell Foam and T5M BullDog Body
