February 28-1 March 2015 I made the trip up to Barmah RC Club, approx 40-minutes from Shepparton in Victoria.
It was the inaugural Dash for Cash race. With $200 up for grabs for the winner in Pro Buggy, it attracted many drivers from Victoria and South Australia.
In Qualifying I went really well, Taking the overall TQ. I had 4 Great Qualifying runs with minimal mistakes and 2 runs with a bobble in one and a DNF in the other.
Pro-Line Equipment Used:
Type-R Clear Body for HB D812
Fugitive X3 Compound with Lightweight Velocity Wheels.
Lexan Trifecta Wing
With getting the overall TQ I would start from 1st in the 30-Minute A-Main.
I got away with a great start, pulling an early 11-second lead over the rest of the field. Matt Griffin was flying in second place and slowly caught onto the back of me. We battled for a number of laps with the lead changing multiple times and eventually it would lead to Matt pulling away. It would stay like this for the remainder of the 30-minute Main event.
I placed second which I was happy with, especially debuting the new Hot Bodies ride for this year.
