03/24/15 El Cajon, CA– Black Rhino/ RacerX Motorsports sponsored athlete Buddy Blacksmith raced his Pro-Line PRO-2 SC Truck Friday night, March 20th at Motor Head RC in San Jacinto, CA.
In qualifying, Buddy was 2nd in heat 1 and was leading in heat 2 when the PRO-2 lost a Wheel. In the Main, the PRO-2 started in second and after things got ironed out he was leading by lap 2. About 8 laps in, he over-drove the corner and was passed by Brian Mitchell leaving him in second for about 4 laps. Mitchell bobbled and Buddy went for the lead and checked out crossing the checkered flag for the win! Buddy used Pro-Line M4 Electron tires with F-11 wheels.
Buddy fabricated a new carbon fiber chassis for the Pro-Line PRO-2.
