Crushing Cancer Team Gram
Pro-Line was approached by our friend Kyle Turner regarding an opportunity to help “Crush Cancer with Team Gram”.
Gram Edwards is currently fighting Leukemia and had asked for an Axial SCX10 for his birthday. While his mother and father are working hard to pay medical bills, Kyle stepped up to fulfill Gram’s birthday wish.
Kyle put out a post on Facebook to over 20 thousand members asking for help in this matter and they responded with many donations. A used SCX10 roller was donated along with a new tx/rx combo, a new motor, esc where donated by another member.
Roughneck Scalers Missouri put on the Crawling for A Cure event to raise money for leukemia research in honor of Gram. Grams father, Butch Edwards is a member of the club and Todd Claire who is the president, a personal friend and a talented artist offered to donate his time and skill to give this rig a killer paint job.
More people stepped forward and donated some cash to help with the odd and ends to finish the build.
Check out these pictures from the project. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible for Gram and thank you to Kyle for reaching out to Pro-Line and allowing us to participate as well!
Building the stuff that Pro-Line Donated went great and Gram loved it!
He loved the T-shirt and Hat along with the accessories that Pro-Line donated.
The pictures are from the event where we gave Gram his SCX10.
Just to let you know he took first place in his class in this event.
Thank you again,
Kyle Turner
