2015 DNC is in the books and it was a pretty wild one. Glad I have such a great team behind me. OBR/TR Team Thanks you guys for all your help support and brotherhood! Man I had a blast meeting and hanging with all the Midwest guys too. Great group I’m glad you all came out on that long drive in the RCRV. Thanks Sean Thomas for setting up such a killer pit area for us. Felt like we were supercross stars behind that pit lol. You guys heard about all the delays and all but besides that the racing was intense. Fastest guys in the world I believe, and a truly testing track on equipment and driver.

My Cars held up all weekend except for a dnf on my second Pro 4WD Buggy qual where I bent a hingepin brace. I ended up Qualifying 6 and finished 5th in my first race with this buggy. I held 3rd for a while as guys started making mistakes and dropping due to mechanicals. I gave it all I had and I’m happy to make top 5 in such a competitive class.

My REDXRC Pro 2 unlimited truck was on point! The pro 2wd race was intense. I started in the number 2 qual position. Made some bad mistakes in the first lap and put myself back to 7th after the first lap. I knew I had to get it together if I was going to make a podium spot. So I started laying down the laps, caught up to 3rd 11-min in and was 12-seconds behind Kevin Enriquez. About that time Chris Higa had a mechanical that set him back and put me into 2nd. I kept burning laps while the leader went into pit and put me into first. I knew I had to make up at least 10 seconds to pit myself and still capture the lead. 22-minutes in I had to make a decision, go for the win or pit. I decided to keep burning laps and gain lead so I could pit but at 26-min I had to gamble. I decided to conserve fuel and not pit. I had to go for the win. It paid off. I really had to fight for that one. Got my second Pro 2wd DNC win in a row. I’m truly blessed.

I had those skid plates takin’ abuse saving my chassis in those gnarly woops, the outdrives and front bumper took all the abuse this weekend.
